Donation buttons - raise funds on Facebook and Instagram
To make it easier for you and your community to raise money on Facebook, Facebook has built tools to help nonprofits and their supporters fundraise. One of the main tools is donation buttons, which allows your supporters to donate to your cause directly from Facebook and Instagram You can find out more about Facebook Charitable Giving here, or sign-up to use Facebook’s charitable giving tools here.
Workplace is Facebook’s team collaboration tool and they have a version that’s free for charities, called Workplace for Good. This new tool that connects everyone in your organisation and enables them to turn ideas into action. Through voice and video calling, group discussion and a personalized News Feed, you can work together and get more done. Workplace for Good is free for all nonprofits.
Facebook Live lets people, public figures and Pages share live video with their followers and friends on Facebook. Nonprofits should look to use Facebook Live when you want to broadcast events or activities and interact with your supporters in real time. You can even have supporters add a donate button or fundraiser to their live videos to raise money for your nonprofit through their broadcast. More info on Facebook Live.
